High School Workshop

The 7th in a series of high
school workshops was held on April 22, 2010. Dave Osterkamp,
owner/operator of "Performance Auto Style", explained the basics of the
automobile electrical system. Dave also showed the students how to design
and install a car stereo system. (Editor's note: There's a whole lot more
than just a couple of speakers and radio to your stereo system. Oh the
simple days of the 8-track and 2 speakers in the back window.) Dave also
let the students listen first hand to a performance stereo system. That
little silver HHR really does "thump".
The next workshop will be
held on April 29th at Okee Dokee Welding. Steve Robinson will be showing
the students how to install floor pans on club member Joe Flax's 59 Dodge.
