Photos and Update by Dave Hausmann
The 8th in series of high
school workshops was held on April 29, 2010. Steve Robinson,
owner/operator of "Okee Dokee Welding" instructed the students on how to
cut and weld in floor pans. Club member, Joe Flax, is currently having
Steve completing some work on his 1959 Dodge and Steve volunteered to show
the students what it takes to perform the task. Steve also had some
additional time to show a few more fabrication techniques on Clay Kusser's
1070 Blazer. Steve and Clay built an aluminum box to hold the computer on
the 5.3 transplant.
The next workshop will be
held on May 6th at Auto Body Concepts. Sean Billet will be instructing the
students on the basics of preparing, mixing and the application techniques
of painting.
