High School Workshop
March 4, 2010

The second in a series of
"High School Workshops" was held on March 4, 2010. This workshop
taught the students some of the basics of mixing, applying and sanding of
body filler. The class was taught by Jake Kleindl. The
students were able to get some hands on mixing and application of body
filler over the dents they repaired the class before. It taught the
students how important it is to prepare the dent properly before the
application of the filler. Jake also gave the students a brief
explanation of the different parts, the adjustments and how a paint gun
works.
The next scheduled workshop
will be held on Thursday, March 11th. This workshop will show some
of the basics of chopping the top on one of the student's pickup and the
welding techniques required when performing this modification..
