Photos and Update by Dave Hausmann
The third in a seriers of
"High School Workshops" was held on March 11, 2010. This workshop
taught the students how to cut and weld in patch panels. The class
also had a bonus for one of the students, Steven Palmer. Steven
elected to chop the top on his 1954 International Pickup. Course
instructor, Steve Robinson who owns and operates "Okee Dokee Welding"
offered his talents to the class and performed the chop. Steven
Palmer, along with Clay Kusser and Colton Jacobsen worked the weekend
before and helped Steve start the chop. Check out the difference 3
1/4" makes to this "really cool ride" in the members section of this
web-site.
The next workshop will be held on March 18th. Steve Robinson will show the students different welding and cutting techniques using a heli-arc welder and plasma cutter.
