High School Workshop

The 9th in a series of high
school workshops was held on May 6, 2010. Sean Billet, owner/operator of
"Auto Body Concepts" instructed the students on how to read paint codes,
explain the different types and shades of paint, how to weigh and mix both
economy and high end paint and how to apply the paint. The results of the
"hands on" workshop showed the students that there are a lot of variables
in paint shades, paint cost and manufacturers.
The next workshop will be
held on May 13th at H&H Repair. Dennis Hirsch and Pat Murphy will be
instructing the students on the different types of performance up-grades
than can be applied to engines, transmissions and chassis.
