Photos and Update by Dave Hausmann
The 10th in a series of high school workshops was held on May 13, 2010.
Pat Murphy (Builder and driver of many Murphy's Law race cars) and Dennis
Hirsch (Owner of H&H Repair) instructed the students on wide variety of
performance upgrades including, exhaust, carbs, intakes, heads, pistons,
cams and every other internal engine part. Dennis and Pat also touched on
transmissions, chassis and rear ends upgrades. There were several
questions asked and plenty of note taking going on. Watch out for this
group in the future. They definitely are the next generation of
hot-rodders.
The next workshop will be held on May 20th at Catlin's Car Clinic. Joel
will be going over the basics of brakes and I will be showing the students
how to measure, bend and flare brake tubing.
