Photos and Update by Dave Hausmann
The 11th in a series of high school workshops was held on May 20, 2010.
Joel Catlin (owner/operator of Catlin's Car Clinic in Ft. Pierre) showed
the students the basics of brakes from wheel and master cylinders to how
ABS brakes work. Joel also showed how to re-surface a brake rotor on a
brake lathe. I also showed the students how to measure, bend and flare
(single & double) brake line tubing.
The next workshop will be held on June 10th at Al Spangler's shop. Al will
show the students how to install seat covers, plus show them some of his
old Mopar performance parts.
